Approvals

Production data that has been captured and can be approved, will be presented within Data Management grids on an approval tab. There will be a tab for each data management item listed for the approval page and there may be an approval page for each module.

The following requirements will be needed for the Approvals process.

Requirements

  1. A data management query over the Lookups table will need to have been created so that the approval status values can be entered.

  2. The required approval status values need to created with the Table Code set to Approvals and the Field Code set to AppSta.
  3. Data management queries will need to be created for each production table that requires approval.
  4. A navigation menu with a page type Approval will need to be created. The ids of the data management queries created for approvals need to be entered into the DataManagementItems field on this navigation menu, separated by commas.
